From the 10 song LP “20/20” dropping March 20. Strange Majik’s blues roots expand on this dystopian rant with a nod to his early 80s influences. João Nogueira’s farfisa crunch line and Megan X’s 8 bit inspired bass forge the alliance with vintage electronics while Pattillo's stream of consciousness flows. There’s even a nod to the Smith’s Johnny Marr on the chorus guitar. This is a good example of why Tony Visconti calls Strange Majik “Progressive Blues.” Release party at Brooklyn Bowl March 29.
